Many people go through their lives in an unfulfilling job because they are too scared of the initial interview.
This could be many reasons for this, such as;
- Lack of confidence
- Suffering panic attacks in an enclosed environment.
- Being the centre of attention.
- Unable to settle into the interview.
- Inability to recall the facts and figures relevant to the job.
- Another colleague is interviewing them.
- Having done a poor interview previously.
- Lack of belief in themselves.
- Blushing. (see my section on blushing) or excessive sweating.
At, or before an Interview some people can experience some of the following;
- Shaking.
- Unable to answer a question, lost for words. Stammering.
- Feeling nauseous or unsteady.
- Dry mouth.
- Butterflies in the stomach.
- Feeling faint or actually fainting.
- Blushing or excessive sweating.
The Fast Track Overcome Interview Nerves normally takes only one session, (however this depends on the severity of the problem) with the session being split into two parts.
The first part of the session is to show the person how to conduct themselves at the interview, how to sit, where to look, what to say in a difficult situation, or how to respond to an awkward questions, etc.
The second half of the session, the person is placed under hypnosis and negative thoughts about the job interview are replaced with positive suggestions e.g The are much calmer, more confident, they speak clearly, speak well, etc.
If the problem is more deep rooted then the process normally takes up to 4 depending on the response and commitment from the client as opposed to the "1000 hour analysis " methods used by psychologists, conventional Hypnotherapists, etc. It is impossible to be totally accurate as to how many sessions are required due to the differences in clients, but with the use of my Fast Track Hypnosis it dramatically speeds up the whole process.
CDs are also provided to reinforce the ongoing results as they progress. Finally clients are taught self-hypnosis to give positive suggestions to themselves without the use of CDs which they can apply before and during their interview.
